When it comes to beer, I am a beer geek. The variety of craft beers in America is huge. Many enjoy craft beers for the flavors and quality alone, such as myself. Especially IPA and Pale Ale brews. When I travel I like to seek out breweries and try new beers. I've considered blogging about some of my visits to breweries, even though I'm not a writer. I could care less about being a writer. My focus is photography. The pictured brew was taken during my visit earlier this week to Holy City Brewing in N. Charleston, SC. The beer is a Pilsner aged in bourbon barrels called Smells Like Rick. Who is Rick? And I'm confident this beer smells better than he does. It's an easy drinking beer delivering an ABV of 6%. If you are in the Charleston area for a visit and enjoy craft beers, drop by Holy City Brewing and hand out for a bit.
