In the small town of Yellow Springs, OH stands the oldest tavern in the state called Ye Olde Trail Tavern. July 4th weekend I had the opportunity to visit this tavern for a meal with a couple other gents. Built in 1827, I believe it was first someones home and was used as a stagecoach stop between Columbus and Cincinnati. My apologies to you because I did not take time to make photos of the inside of the tavern due to being social. Next time I'm in Ohio I will visit this place again and make some shots to share.
If you ever visit Yellow Springs, be sure to take in the small town with a walk about. It's a peaceful, relaxed environment. The summer time would be a great time to visit the small town. The restaurants are good and there is a nice brewery along a bike/walking trail.
